The Carhartt Flame-Resistant Lanyard Access Jacket is flame resistant clothing at its very best. It is made from 8.5oz brown duck canvas that is a blend of 88% cotton and 12% high-tenacity nylon. It is insulated with 6.75oz quilted material for added warmth. The batting is Modacrylic and is quilted to a twill-face cloth. Both the inner and outer layers are fire-resistant protected.
The jacket is comfortable and durable as well as safe and warm. It comes with an inner Nomex rib-knit storm cuff and has outer cuff cinches that use hook-and-loop closures to form an extremely tight fit under work gloves. Nomex tape is also featured on the jacket’s brass zipper.
The jacket comes with a flapped back so that you can easily pass a lanyard through it. This will allow you to attach to a safety harness without interrupting your range of motion a single bit. A number of pockets including two chest pockets with flaps and hook-and-loop closures, two large lower outside pockets, and two inside patch pockets with hook-and-loop closures give you plenty of room for all of your odds and ends. Finally, this bad boy had under-the-collar snaps so that you can throw a FR hood on if your working conditions call for it.
Not many jackets are as nice as the Carhartt FRJ003 BRN Brown Flame-Resistant Lanyard Access Jacket. Snatch one up today and you won’t have to worry about your safety nearly as much while you’re hard at work on the job.
